At Arpa Guest Farm you are welcome to laze around, have a picnic at the river, enjoy some leisurely brunch, or have a campfire or braai at night.
Take to the open veld and simply wander around exploring all the nooks and crannies of the farm or do some serious hiking in the hills that surround it.
Relax while you watch the skies. The farm is home to numerous birds of prey, waterfowl, kingfishers and many others. Kindly ensure your children do not harm or kill any birds with airguns or catapults.
Marvel at the magic of the Milky Way as you’ve never seen it, far from the light pollution of the city.
Fish in the Klein Caledon river, bordering the farm, or in the dam. Please be friendly to the environment and return the fish to the river or dam. We have carp, yellowfish and bass.
Canoeing and Rafting
Potter around on the dam with a canoe or raft – just don’t disturb the birds!
Spend a fun afternoon on the river tubing and swimming.
